2011 Festival Food Registration

The Almaden Valley Women's Club is inviting local non-profit and for-profit food vendors to participate in the 2011 Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival.

Due to the outstanding number of vendor applications we receive each year, we strongly recommend any food vendor interested in participating in the festival submit their applications as soon as possible.

The application deadline is June 30th, 2011.

There will be a $50 LATE FEE applied to any applications received after the June 30th deadline.

The annual Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival has been orchestrated by the Almaden Valley Women's Club since 1965. Funds raised at this festival are used to serve the needs of the Almaden community and those of greater San Jose through scholarships and community grants. 2011 AVWC Scholarships Available

Almaden Valley Women’s Club is on the lookout for scholarship applicants
The Almaden Valley Women’s Club Service and Academic Scholarship Award committee promotes student service and academic achievement. These scholarships, funded through the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival, recognize high school students for outstanding leadership in service to their community and neighbors. The AVWC is pleased to announce it has several scholarships to distribute to deserving students this year. The individual scholarships may range from $500 - $2500.
The award is open to graduating high school seniors who will attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as first time freshmen in the fall of the upcoming year. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.3 and reside within the 95120 zip code. Winners will be selected based on outstanding volunteer experience, academic performance, school activities, letters of recommendation, and personal essay.
Dates for applicant acceptance are February 15, 2010 - April 9, 2011.
