SAN JOSE, CA – Tracy Liang is the winner of the 2007 Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival logo design contest.
Tracy is a 15 year old sophomore attending Leland High School and has lived in Almaden for about 1 and ½ years. She has taken art lessons since she was about six years old and is currently further developing her talents at the Lord of Light Art Studio owned by Mrs. Fuji.
Earlier this year Tracy also won the 2007 Leland Blue & Gold logo contest. Proving the old saying is true: the cream always rises to the top!
When asked what she likes most about her current art teacher, Tracy said that she likes the strong foundations for skills that she emphasizes and the wide range of different mediums that Mrs. Fuji teaches AND the atmosphere is wonderful!
At Leland she has a basic course schedule, plays in the orchestra every week, and devotes most of her free time to the pursuit of her passion – ART.
Tracy also teaches at the Lord of the Light Art Studio
In her future, Tracy would like to attend a New York art college or NYU. She is planning on majoring in animation, illustration or fashion design. Her recent success in winning not one, but two logo contests, bodes well for her realizing this dream.
